Food was great, but the fact that the chairs are raised at 9:15 pm is a no go. According to the homepage open until 10 p.m.

I chose an Italian dish seen the profile and they brought me a stuff that floated in ketchup and covered with a stringy cheese. I wanted to leave but they begged me with an edible pizza. Not recommended.

Pizza tasted good to me, maybe a little too salty. The service was a bit rushed and I would like to see people looking for you more often. Would have loved to have a coffee, but waitresses stayed away despite the empty shop.

Best eating and serving

Very good pizza that is just as tasty if ordered gluten free. The staff was very friendly, they even started to entertain the kids that were with us.

Excellent Italian food great atmosphere and pleasant staff

I have been going here regularly since mine. Childhood. So over 30 years. I can not complain. I like to eat here, the prices are acceptable and fair for the service. The shop is always full, the Italian has been in Mainz for over 60 years, people know that they get quality here. To recommend from my side.

Thanks to everyone who did Google reviews for Pizza Dato--I was looking for a place in Mainz that was good for gluten free, and this place was great--really good pizza and tiramisu--plus our server spoke perfect English. Really enjoyed it and I would recommend it!

Delicious gluten free lasagna. Excited to go back and try the pizza. We had a lovely time here. Great service and my toddler enjoyed his tortellini.

Tasty pizza with huge variations, but a bit expensive. Average price for normal size - 8-10€. And it will be like small size at some other places. Nice terrace, big main hall, takeaway and even delivery.
